Baby Butler Is Doing Nicely :)

Hey yall...I know I am late with this update.  We are now in week 13 and everything is going nicely.   I love saying that.  During church on Wednesday nights and Sunday nights, it is "tradition" for the someone to give a report on the sick & shut-in at our congregation.  If the person had a good report, the man would say that the person was doing "nicely".  I know it's sounds weird but saying those words in my world means that everything is going well.  We went for our monthly check up on July 9 and our wonderful doctor did an ultrasound.  Boy was that little peanut moving around.  It makes me wonder what he/she is going to be like when he/she arrives.  Some of you are familiar with Mr. Wonderful and how active he is.  But the stories that I have heard of him as a child tell me that he was a very active child.  His mom said that they would have to hold the corners of tables while they talked because he would be running from room to room and wouldn't stop.  He was accident prone...breaking a bike in half and visits to the ER were normal for him.  It only makes me wonder what I have to look forward to.  But you know what, I wouldn't trade it for the world.  This is what I have been wanting since I was a little girl and what we have strived for over the past 2 years.  While I was a ball of tears during the infertility process, I have yet to be emotional over the fact that I am pregnant.  I am just super excited and can't wait to meet our baby.

So how am I doing?  Well, I explain it like this.  I am ready to stop looking fat and start looking pregnant.  My knockers have taken on a life of their own and I can't fit into any of my regular clothes which means I am 100% in maternity clothes.  However, my belly is not showing yet so I just look so weird.  I am only 5'1 so it's a lot going on in this body of mine.  I refuse to do any belly pics until I actually have a belly.  I don't want to scare you all!  However, Mr. Wonderful is picture happy.  Of course he recorded the entire ultrasound.  He is so happy and loves to hear that heartbeat during the ultrasound.  So I guess you can say that Mr. Wonderful is doing nicely too :)

We find out the gender of our baby on August 22.  However, I think we may have a gender reveal party that Friday for our family and friends.  I have had about 3,000 (Not really but it seems like it) people tell me that we are having a boy or that they want us to have a boy.  Will we or won't we...that is the question!  Nobody believes me when I say that all I care about is having a healthy child.  With all of the procedures that we have had, I just want this baby to be healthy and for me be healthy during this pregnancy.

Once we find out the sex of the baby, then I can start working on the nursery and I can't wait.  Our babies (dogs) Sadie and Gracie are currently occupying the room and I hate to give them the boot but I promised them that we would give them a nice new place.

I already bought the stroller...I can't wait to use it!  It's called an UppaBaby Vista.  I LOVE this stroller.  We first saw it at a store called USA Baby here in town and then did our research and hope that this will be a stroller to last for all of our children. I was so excited when we got it that we came home and put it together and it's now just sitting in Baby Butler's room waiting on shim :)

The next investment we want to make is a good camera and of course our nursery furniture.  As far as the camera goes, we have been looking at a Nikon and a Cannon camera.  My dilemma is that all of the cameras look the same and I am clueless about which camera is the better investment.  Please send me some info and your opinions.  I would love to know which ones you guys use.  I will update you guys on which nursery furniture we will choose but I am loving the Chelsea furniture

or the Capri Collection

We love both so I guess it will just have to wait until we can decide whether our decor is masculine or feminine.  That's all for now!  I need to blog more often and not have these long blogs but I guess I just need to let it all flow.  With school starting in 2.5 weeks I have a lot on my plate.  Our next appointment will be August 1 and we pray that this little heartbeat remains strong and we will know what gender to call shim on August 22.  I cannot wait!!!!!!!!  Everyone is doing nicely while settling into our destination...
