Then last week, my sweet sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. It seems as though this disease is rearing its head in more places than I like. Not only does my sister have to deal with it, my husband's aunt found out she was pregnant and that she also has breast cancer. I wish there was something I could do to take it away or that there was some drug I could buy for them to take it all away. We are hopeful that my sister's battle will be short and successful as she has the sweetest two girls in the world. Keep her and her support in your prayers.
The next question I have is when will sleep ever come back? My sweet child is truly a blessing but the sleep deprivation is NO JOKE! Right now we are doing 3 hour stretches and it seems to work but I am hoping to make those stretches a little longer as she gets older and starts eating more and is up more during the day. I read that we should expect to see a change in her sleeping by the time she hits 6 weeks. Some of the books I have read say to allow the baby to sleep as long as they will sleep and other books say to wake them up and not to allow the babies to sleep a long time during the day. I guess I just need to find out what works for me. Give me another month and I will let you know what we have figured out.
While we have been in our newborn haze, we did get some pics done. Check out Kendal's pics done by

My sweet husband also took pictures of my sweet baby and her cousins over the weekend. Here are some pics from that fun time and just some pics in general. Also, I want to say Happy 1st birthday to my sweet niece Taylor Marie. She turned 1 year old on Valentines Day and we had a great time celebrating her first year...We love you sweet Taylor!!
