Well, I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas holiday. Let me tell you, we sure did! Mr. Wonderful ended up getting his camera...and let me tell you how happy he was to receive it. I think he's still smiling right now. However, Christmas Eve is another story. I was headed out the door to go do some last minute Christmas shopping when my sweet mother decided to surprise me by starting the self-cleaning oven for me. Well, she didn't see the full pan of turkey in the oven and as the oven was cleaning, there was enough smoke in my house that it looked like a fire. We had to call the fire department and they had to remove my stove from the house in order to stop the cleaning process. My house smelled like cigarette smoke and I cried thinking that my baby's room was going to smell like smoke when she comes home. Mr. Wonderful and my mom took care of everything and now our house is starting to smell like it is supposed to...what a holiday break it has been!
We did get to the doctor right before we clicked over to 37 weeks and little Kendal is doing well. They monitored movement and heart rate and she performed perfectly. She has also dropped quite a bit so hopefully she is moving into position. I go back for my 38 week appointment after the new year for another ultrasound and we will see what happens. My doctor is adamant about me not going back to work after break and I guess I am going to have to oblige. I am officially on maternity leave...who knew it would come so fast???
I am writing this post on December 29, 2012 which is our wedding anniversary. God knew who I needed and when I needed him and I can say he is truly my rock. Mr. Wonderful is just that, he makes things happen when I have given up hope and keeps me focused on the goal when I lose my focus. He loves me unconditionally and I cannot ask for more than that!! Happy anniversary Mr. Wonderful :)
